A Voice Lost
Peter Jennings, the sole anchor of World News Tonight, died Sunday, at the age of 67. Jennings had annouced April 5 that he had lung cancer. He has been the sole anchor of World News Tonight since 1983, over 20 years. I know I personally will miss him. He was probably my favorite news anchor to watch, and did a great job of his well, job. Also in the morning news, the divers in the submerged submarine are okay after a British robot craft cut them free of the fishing net they were trapped in. That's it for this morning's headlines. I'll be back later with some more news, if anything interesting comes up
