In The Wake

I've been inspired during the last few days as Hurricane Katrina has moved onto the Gulf Coast, so I decided to write a new Life thingy. This is dedicated to everyone who has been affected by Hurricane Katrina, and I wish them the best of luck with trying to rebuild their lives. This is for you.

Life can be awful sometimes. A disaster hits the world, but you have to keep going. You have to get through this and move on. You can't give up. You have to try, and you will succeed. If someone comes and kicks you while you're down, just ignore them and move on. If they get in to trouble, go and help them. Don't hold a grudge because you may become their hero. As Gandhi said, "If we all took an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, we'd all be blind and toothless." So keep going, and don't look back, but most importantly you have to try to move on. If you don't, you'll never get through. Good Luck.
