Two Roads
Okay, well, I've been kind of randomly thinking about stuff, and have come up with this. I don't even know if it's a life thingy because this is more about my life then just life in general. It was kind of random and spontaneous, and a real life thingy will come out of this, but for now I think it qualifies as a life thingy, so that's what it'll be. Guys, Gals, and the rest of the crew and people I know and get along with, this is for you. You know who you are, and if you don't, I hope this shows you something. Here it comes, it's deeper than usual, so I hope you like it. I think you will, but that's my opinion.
I have lived in Chicago now for about 7 years now, pretty much most of my life. I've lived here, made friends, and lost friends, and discovered more. I've grown up here, and this is really my home. The only real one I've ever had. The other places where I don't remember much about or I didn't live there very long. This has become the place that I've grown attached to. Life coming out here was a little confusing. I'd lost a friend, a good friend back in Crawfordsville, and now we moved to this new place, for the third time in my life, we were being uprooted, and moved somewhere else. Eventually though, I got used to it. I started to make some new friends, and got used to things here. I got used to things, and life has been good. There has been the occasional hiccup, but all in all, I really can't complain too much. The only reason it's been that way, though, is because of my friends. I've had pretty damn (yes, damn) unbelievable friends, and I don't know what I'd do without them. Hope you guys see this. This is for all of them, the ones I've just met and the ones I've known for I don't how long. I'm me because of you, and I hope you stay with me, cause without all of you, my life would be boring, and that's no fun. Seriously, it's not (I should know). Thanks for staying with me, even when I'm annoying as hell, which I know I can be. Joffers can testify to that. You make life interesting and fun and worth living for. I look forward to the next day with you, whatever it should bring. To finish up, I leave you a quote from a poem by Robert Frost. It goes like this:
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made all the difference."
Indeed it has.

Did you know that the Robert Frost peom you quoted is the one that the graduation speakers used to base their speaches on?
No, I didn't know that. That's kind of interesting. Thanks for telling me.
Yes, Olivia, that quote was used for the speeches, but guess what. That's my life screaming at you, so deal, and get used to it. And, right now, I'm sticking out my tongue at you. :-P
